If you walk early in the morning along Major Street in Santa Coloma, you can’t help but be carried away by the smell of freshly baked bread. And at L’Aresta they don’t make just any bread: it’s organic, with natural sourdough and a wood-fired oven, made with old, local and traditional varieties. It is worth visiting to learn about this agro-ecological, cooperative and self-managing project, which is carried out by a group of young people who every day embrace the spirit of a living rural world.
