Farinera de la Segarra


Malda hosts the sole flour mill of the valley. It is a family enterprise that produces since 1953 flours ground from locally-grown cereals. There, you will find many different flours: conventional, stone-ground or organic, wheat, rye, spelt or chickpea flours. Always ground from local cereals. The gristmill is one of the most surprising pieces of the place. In it, the cereal is ground at low speed and temperature, in a traditional way.


As the expression goes, "Si vols pa del fi, porta'l blat en 'quet molí"
